This is Halloween town!
The Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority hosted the annual Halloween Extravaganza in Children’s Park in downtown Lake Orion, giving kids and their families to get an early sugar high before the Oct. 31 night of ghoulish fun.
DDA Event Coordinator Suzy Sebastian estimates that more than 1,500 people attended the event, which features local business, charitable organizations and community groups setting up decorated tents and passing out candy in a safe environment.
The DDA also provided donuts, cider, a DJ, decorations and a 10 feet tall Lady in Black to enhance the Haunted Halloween atmosphere.
