Six students from Brandon High School recently auditioned and were chosen for MSVMA State Honors Choirs. From the 157-voice Regional Choir, 85 students were chosen to go on to the State level from District C. Elissa Fortner and Melinda Maxey were chosen to the State Honors SATB Choir. James Davis was selected for the TTBB State Honors Choir. Lynndsy Koss, Lisa Langdon, and Amanda Halula were chosen for the SSAA State Honors Choirs. The MSVMA Regional Honors Choir program and state audition was held on Dec. 6 at Chippewa Valley High School. During the audition process, students sang four musical numbers a capella for an adjudicator. Students with the highest scores were then selected for the State Honors Choirs.
