Guile James Jewell Sr. passed away on February 17, 2021.

Guile was the beloved husband of Colleen; father of Guile Jr. (Jeanne), Tim (Trisha), Kelly Roberts (Trevor), Loucas Winowiski, Hali Winowiski (Kyle Hill), Chloe Scott (Trenton), Noah Jewell and the late Sean McKellar Inscho; brother of the late Ed (Laura), Linda (Terry) Holliday, the late Don (Pam), Bruce (the late Bridget), Dee (Clayton) House and Kim (the late Mark) Thiede.

Guile was born May 6, 1950, the son of the late Margaret “Margie” and the late Edsel.

Guile was a life-long resident of the Lake Orion/Oxford area. He was a good, reliable friend to so many and was always quick to help anyone he could. His love for the Lord also made him a man that would reach out and pray for, and with, anyone who needed it.

He was talented musically and creative artistically. He always stayed busy, and loved teaching his kids how to play. Building an ice luge off the back deck to the lake for the whole neighborhood to enjoy was not an unusual project for Guile.

He felt very fortunate that in his last year, he was able to spend time with all of his grandchildren: Ethan, Austin, Lauren, Marissa and Dylan Jewell; Peighton, Garrett and Harley Roberts; Knox and Kinsley Hill; and his yet to be born Aria Jewell.
