Mark D. Smythe, of Lake Orion, passed away suddenly on January 19, 2020. He was 58-years-old.

Mark is the beloved husband of Barb; proud father of Haley, Paul, Mary and Kelly Smythe; son of Paul and the late Joan Smythe; brother of Scott (Melinda) Smythe, Sherry (Brad) Lewis and Shannon (Greg) Ferrick; brother-in-law of Sue (Randy) Smith; uncle of Lindsey, Blake, Collin and Ryan. He is also survived by his dog Colby.

Mark was a graduate of Lawrence Technological University. He owned a real estate appraising company named New Century Appraisals. Mark enjoyed working out and following his favorite sports teams. He liked working on his landscaping and spending time in his pool with his family.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 – 11 a.m. with an in-state of 10 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Church, 2700 Waldon Road, Lake Orion.
