Brandon’s boys cross country team wrapped up its regular season with a sixth-place finish at the Flint Metro League meet Oct. 15 at Brandon.
The Blackhawks finished with 137 points at the meet. Fenton won the league title, finishing first with 26 points. Oxford finished second (36) and Holly third (107).
Brad Lawrence was Brandon’s top competitor, finishing 16th overall with a time of 18:26.6. Trevor DeWitt followed up with a 21st-place finish (19:04.7).
Other Brandon runners were: Steve Sanday (31st, 19:56), Jared Blunk (34th, 20:42), Dylan Kent (35th, 20:47), and Adam George (39th, 21:32)
