Custer sets pace for GHS boys harriers at Holly Invitational

Goodrich boys cross country competitor Jake Custer set the pace for the Martians at the Holly Invitational Saturday, Sept. 13.
Custer, a senior, finished among the top 30 runners in the Division 3 portion of the invite, placing 28th with a time of 18:14.
As a team, the Martians finished 11th out of 18 teams with 320 points. Shepherd finished first with 67 points, while Hillsdale finished second (87) and Vicksburg third (111).
Other Goodrich runners were: Jeremy Phan (43rd, 18:44), Zach Glynn (58th, 19:14), Justin Bittner (82nd, 19:16), and Tom Schumacher (109th, 21:49).
Goodrich competed at the Michigan State University Invitational in East Lansing Friday, Sept. 19. They return to action Sept. 23 against Byron and Mt. Morris at 4:30 p.m.
