The new Pooltown, 6473 Sashabaw Road, is ready for summer to start.
“This is a good time to buy ? we have great prices,” said General Manager Scott Garden at the March 28 ribbon cutting.
This is the seventh location for the metro Detroit pool and supply center, focusing on Doughboy above-ground pools.
“I grew up with Doughboy pools ? the brand name is so powerful,” Garden said. “I hear it all time, ‘I’m here to buy a Doughboy.'”
Their plan is to expand into a larger Clarkston location as soon as possible so they can display more of their pool and spa products.
“We plan to be here in the 2013 summer to introduce ourselves to Clarkston, then find a much larger building in the immediate area,” he said. “We’re looking to grow every year.”
