H. Wallace Parker is going through his lawsuit because, ‘I still don’t have an apology,? he said.
On Aug. 2, Parker filed a suit against both Independence Township and Trustee Neil Wallace on two counts: ‘Defamation and Disparagement of Reputation? and ‘Complaint for Declaration of Innocence.?
Township Attorney Steve Joppich will represent both the township and Wallace. Joppich’s council will be funded by the township’s insurance, said Trustee Wallace.
‘I’m begin sued allegedly for something I did in my official capacity,? Wallace explained.
