Sister Souls Inc fundraising with love

While helping out three children that really need it is a blessing in itself, watching a community come together to join the cause feeds their Souls.
Sister Souls, Inc. is holding two more fundraising events in June to help ‘Mighty Max? Milewski, Nicole Burton and Faith Aisthorpe.
Max was born 11 weeks premature with Down syndrome and cataracts. If that wasn’t enough for the little guy, he has begun a long battle with Leukemia at the age of two years old. Nicole has battled cancer since age four, and was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on September 11, 2008.
Just two months after she thought she had beat cancer through treatment and chemotherapy, her mother received a call that the cancer had returned in a more aggressive way. Nicole just received a complete immune system replacement & Bone Marrow Transplant in January. Faith Aisthorpe was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 18 months old. She has been admitted to the hospital numerous times for CF exacerbation, pancreas and kidney issues. She takes five oral medications and does up to 12 breathing treatments a day. She also has a permanent IV port in her chest to access for blood draws and to infuse the IV antibiotics when she is in the hospital.
The first fundraiser is ‘Reunion for all – Party for a Cause? on Friday, June 22 at the Lake Orion Eagles Club. The event is $10 per person and will include food donated by several local businesses, cash bar, as well as a silent auction with 50 generous gift baskets that were solicited & created by several kind Souls in the LO community.
Some of the donated items are from the Detroit Pistons, Tigers, and Red Wings, as well as a $400 romantic get-away from The Townsend Hotel. Also, Spillane & Reynolds Orthodontics (LO Grad, Jamie Reynolds) is donating a gift basket with a gift certificate for $1000 off new orthodontic treatment!
