Lee pleads ‘no contest? for involvement in Oxford Twp. sub armed robbery

PONTIAC – Pontiac resident Quesean Daniel Lee, 18, pleaded no contest in front of Judge Wendy Potts at the Sixth circuit Court in Pontiac for his involvement during an Aug. 3 armed robbery in the 1700 block of Twin Lakes in Oxford Twp.
According to Oakland County Sheriff’s Det. Jason Louwaert, Lee pleaded no contest to charges of armed robbery and felonious assault.
Louwaert said if Lee agreed to plea to the two charges, the charges of felony firearm and larceny of a firearm would be dropped.
On Aug. 3, Lee, along with a 16-year-old from Pontiac and a 17-year-old Pontiac resident, who was a former school of choice student, went to the residence on Twin Lakes Blvd. to purchase a 12-guage shotgun.
While inspecting the firearm, both Lee and the 16-year-old drew handguns, pointed them at a 19 and 21-year-old, who lived in the house and were present during the exchange, and demanded everything be handed over.
The 21-year-old shouted for others in the house to get a gun, causing Lee and the 16-year-old to flee the residence to their vehicle. Before getting in their vehicle, Lee fired in the direction of three people trying to follow him.
Lee will be sentenced in front of Judge Potts on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
