Royal Diner’s open 24-7

The former Ram’s Horn and Nick’s Country Oven on Dixie Highway is now The Royal Diner.
It was bought by brothers Martin and Paul Gojcaj, who have been in the restaurant business in metro Detroit for over 20 years.
‘They’ve renovated the building, made everything brand new,? said Elizabeth Foglesong, ‘It’s contemporary, but modern.?
Foglesong, night manager at the restaurant, said over 70 percent of the employees are former of employees of either Ram’s Horn or Nick’s, including herself.
‘We’re like a family here,? Martin said. ‘We have an excellent crew.?
Martin and his family have lived in Independence for past seven years. The diner offers a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items, including Greek, American, and Italian.
‘Food’s really great, fast friendly service, servers are all really professional and on their toes ready to go, very polite,? Foglesong said. ‘We’re always ready to accommodate everybody.?
With the restaurant being open 24/7 and offering free WiFi, Foglesong said they see a lot of college kids at night time.
The Royal Diner is located at 6450 Dixie Highway. Call 248-620-3333
