Groveland Twp.-Remodeling can have a vast improvement on the overall atmosphere of a business and greatly improve customer satisfaction, even if only one part of the business is remodeled. Reinventing their outdated look and taking aim at customer approval is exactly the reason why Bueche’s Food World, a local, family-owned business, decided to remodel their entire deli center.
The deli went from a small area, serving exclusively sliced meats and cheeses, to a large glass counter that showcases the variety of foods offered, ranging from pre-made pastas, chicken dinners, and meatloaf to all types of vegetables and an increased number of sliced meats and cheeses. The deli has also started selling freshly made pasties and eggrolls.
‘We increased the number and range of products we serve and made it easier for our customers to see what we have to sell,? said Leann Haddix, a deli employee.
The main goal of expanding and improving the deli center was to increase the homemade feel of the foods sold at Bueche’s Food World.ere as well as th ‘We wanted to update the deli by giving the food a more homemade feel and the whole store a new mood and flavor to boost the business we recieve. This addition definitely created a classier feel to the store,? said Haddix.
The response of regular customers has been positive.
‘Everyone has commented on how good it looks and how much selection we have now,? she said. ‘We confused the customers at first because they were so used to the food being in a different place, but once they got used to it, it was nothing but good responses.?
Some things have stayed the same’almost all of the food served at the deli is made daily, ensuring customers a fresh product. Customers can also expect to see the same friendly faces working the deli, if not a few more, to make up for the increased size.
The new and improved deli was opened the week of Sept. 8.
