Retirement
On the last day of school, Belle Ann Elementary School staff, students, and parents learned that their longtime school secretary, Ruth Rogan, had decided to retire.
Although it was a tough decision for Ruth, she felt it was time to move on. Ruth was employed by the Brandon School District for 34 years. She started as a reading recovery aide at Belle Ann Elementary in 1976, but spent the majority of her years working as the school secretary. Ruth truly loved her job and she always did so much more than was expected of her.
Ruth will be missed by her Belle Ann family and she is wished all the best in her future plans.
