Wint Nature Center celebrates its 25th anniversary celebration, 1-4 p.m., June 26, with puppet Mobile, inflatables, climbing tower, free one-hour boat rental, live concert, face painting, crafts, games, live animal display, garden tours, refreshments.
The celebration, at Independence Oaks County Park, 9501 Sashabaw Road, also commemorates 25 years of Tuning Your Tot.
A Wint Nature Center Memory Tree features stories written by past and present program participants. One memory from the tree will be selected at the event and the winner will receive an Oakland County Parks and Recreation Family Fun Pass Book, a $165 value.
Free park entry is available for those attending the anniversary celebration.
