Lady Dragons track team sprinted their way to a first place win against Rochester Adams, March 31. The girls took first place in 11 events, second place in five events and third place in eight.
In the meet, they faced LOHS alumnus Eric Lohr, first-year coach for Rochester Adams.

The boys? varsity track and field team won a close one against Clarkston on Tuesday, April 14. The score was 67-61. Senior Captain Ryan Ziolko won the two-mile, ran on the winning 3200m relay team and took second place in the 1600m run. Senior Robby Lentz won the long jump and anchored the winning 800m relay. Senior Noah Fix won the discus, Sophomore Taylor Jongekrijg won the high jump, Senior Scott LaValley won the 110m hurdles and Junior Cameron Goodall won the 300m hurdles.
Valuable points were also scored by Jermiah Hargett, Sean Bone, and Michael Dunlap.
On Saturday, April 18 the track squads competed in the Oxford Invitational. The boys? track team came in second place with 72 points. Walled Lake Central was first with 119.5 points.
The girl’s came in first place with a score of 101.5. They beat Waterford Mott who was third place in Division I last year.
