The success are starting to add up for the Girl’s Varsity Swim and dive team as they took two out three meets the previous week.
The week ended on a solid effort put forth by the girls as they beat a combined Flint Kearsley/Clio team 128 to 58.
The results were:
In the 200 Medley Relay, Oxford’s A Relay of Senior Kara Charles, Sophomore Emily Gilmore, Sophomore Amanda delaPaz and Junior Anna Daves took first with a time of 3:13.84. The B Relay of Senior Jennifer Sunman, Freshman Caitlyn Wroblewski, Freshman Brenda Flasher and Senior Rikki Jarvis finished second.
In the 200 Free, Junior Sarah Skelton took home first place with a time of 2:19.58. Senior Kaitlyn Kimmel was second and Sophomore Brittany Basela was third.
In the 200 Individual Medley, Charles took first with a time of 2:45.29. Jarvis and Wroblewski came in third and fourth respectively.
DelaPaz won the 50 Free in 28.20. Freshman Casey Keils was second and Daves took fourth.
Olivia Martin won the diving portion with 134.70 points. Sophomore Bailey Terrian was second and Junior Kayla Pollard was fourth.
In the 100 Fly, delaPaz took first with a time of 1:20.73, while Flasher and Sophomore Brooklyn Allen took third and fourth respectively.
Oxford swept the 100 Free. Daves took first with a time of 1:05.13, Jarvis came in second and Keils was third.
The Wildcats also swept the 500 Free with Skelton coming in first with a time of 6:08.92. Kimmel was second and Sunman was third.
In the 200 Free Relay, the A Relay of Keils, Daves, delaPaz and Skelton touched the wall first with a time of 1:58.15. The Wildcat’s B Relay of Junior Jasmine Vickery, Basela, Flasher and Jarvis were second.
In the 100 back, the Wildcats again swept the event from Kearsley/Clio with Charles coming in first with a time of 1:14.38. Sunman was second and Freshman Miranda Murphy was third.
In the 100 Breast, Gilmore took first with a time of 1:22.68. Wroblewski was second and Allen took fourth.
In the 400 Free Relay, the A Relay of Skelton, Kimmel, Sunman and Charles took first with a time of 4:26.36. The B Relay took second.
The victory over Kearsley/Clio came on the heels of a dual meet against Corunna High School and Pontiac High School.
They split in the meet, defeating Pontiac 147-17 and losing to Corunna 108-77.

In the 200 Medley Relay, the A-Relay of Charles, Gilmore, delaPaz and Daves took second against Corunna and first against Pontiac with their time of 2:13.62.
Skelton took second against Corunna and first against Pontiac with her time of 2:15.75 in the 200 Free. Kimmel and Basela also scored points.
Charles took first overall in the 200 Individual Medley with her time of 2:41.49. Jarvis and Wroblewski also earned points.
In the 50 Free, delaPaz took third against Corunna and was first against Pontiac with a time of 28.27. Daves and Keils also earned points.
Martin took third against Corunna and first against Pontiac with her 132.90 points in the diving portion. Sophomore Makala Sutherland also earned points for the Wildcats.
In the 100 Fly, delaPaz took first for both teams with her time of 1:18.96, which was a season best for her. Flasher also earned points.
In the 100 Free, Keils took third against Corunna and first against Pontiac with her time of 1:04.34. Daves and Jarvis also earned points.
Skelton again took home a third place finish and a first place finish for the Wildcats in the 500 Free with her time of 6:13.84. Sunman and Kimmel also earned points for the team.
In the 200 Free Relay, the A Relay of delaPaz, Jarvis, Daves and Skelton brought home a first place finish against both teams with their combined time of 1:56.19. The C Relay of Freshman Miranda Murphy, Gilmore, Basela and Junior Jamie Miller was second overall.
In the 100 Back, Charles took second against Corunna and first against Pontiac with her time of 1:13.70, which was a personal best for her. Sunman and Murphy also earned points.
Gilmore took first against both teams in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:22.46. Wroblewski and Allen also earned points.
In the 400 Free Relay, the A relay of Skelton, Kimmel, Keils and Charles took second against Corunna and first Pontiac with a time of 4:28.45.
The girls final meet is home against Lapeer East on Oct. 27 before heading off to Fenton to compete in the FML meet on Nov. 6 and 7.
