Ribbon-cutting opening for Premier Eyecare

Premier Eyecare celebrated its Independence Township opening with a ribbon cutting, May 20.
“I’m excited to participate in Clarkston community, and look forward to working in Clarkston for many years,” Dr. Jonathan Garretson said.
He graduated from West Bloomfield High School in 1993, received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 1997, and Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2004, graduating with honors.
He moved back to Michigan five years ago with his wife, Shelly, and children Marrissa and Tyler and opened Premier Eyecare this past March.
“We’re thrilled to be part of the Clarkston community,” he said. “We liked the location ? it’s upscale, great visibility. It’s a growing area, with a wider road and nice rental space.”
They offer full service optical care, eye ware, sunglasses, eye exam, and health screenings.
“We specialize in hard-to-fit contact lens ? we have a lot of experience in that,” Garretson said. “We’re looking forward to lasting relationship with people, focusing on the importance of eye health as we age.”
