Thank you for help with flat tire

Dear editor:
Thank you, Coach Garret of G.O.B. Gymnastics. You were a great Samaritan to my son and me.
On Thursday, May 15, I was driving on M-15 with my 12-year-old son. We got a flat tire and pulled onto Harbor Pointe Drive to get out of the way of traffic. I went into G.O.B. Gymnastics to tell them my van would be parked on the street until I could get help. Coach Garret overheard my dilemma. He came up to me and insisted on helping me get my tire changed.
He came out to our van, looked at the situation and said this would be simple. As we watched him, he made it look simple and fun. While working on the tire, he told us when he got his first car, his father would not let him drive it until he changed all four tires and the oil.
After getting the tire changed, Coach Garret refused compensation.
We thank you, Coach Garret. Coach Paul and Coach Julie, you should be proud of him. I will extend the advice you gave him for my son and daughter when they get their first cars.
