The village council appointed Jerry Dixon to fill a vacancy on the planning commission during their regular meeting last week.
Dixon, the only new applicant, will replace Ed Roberts, who chose not to be reappointed.
Dixon is currently a member of the village’s website committee as well.
His term on the planning commission expires in April of 2011.
