Orion Area Youth Assistance (OAYA) is still accepting nominees for their 15th Annual Youth Recognition Awards, but time is running out.
The awards, to be held on April 15, pay special tribute to the outstanding youth in our community.
OAYA is in search of any youth that have volunteered in any outstanding way.
Volunteer acts may include, but are not limited to, personal acts of heroism, hospital/nursing home service, ecology/beautification activities, March of Dimes, Special Olympics, mentor/tutoring and assisting senior citizens.
Paid services and high school community service hours cannot be counted.
