HR services need more bids, trustees say

After receiving only one proposal, the township board voted last week by a 4-2 margin to continue to look for firms interested in providing the HR services needed in Orion.
Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith was the only firm to submit a proposal in each of the three requested categories (Job Descriptions/Classification Review, Personnel Policies Manual Review and Contracted Human Resource Functions).
The board appointed trustees Matt Gibb, John Garlicki and Neal Porter to find other interested firms and report back at the next meeting (Jan. 7).
