Children enjoyed some early Halloween trick-or-treating at Springfield Township’s Trick or Treat Trail this past weekend.
The Hart Community Center in Davisburg was transformed into a gently scary labyrinth of black plastic, lights, and Halloween props. Community volunteers, including the Rotary Club and National Honor Society students from Clarkston and other local high schools, passed out treats at 13 stops along the trail.
“It took three days to set up, and tons of lights,” said Casey Reed, recreation coordinator for Springfield Township.
