Take a tour of what your money built

If you haven’t made it up to the new $1.8 million Oxford Township Hall at the northeast corner of Seymour Lake and Dunlaps roads, now’s your chance.
The township will be hosting an Open House on Saturday, February 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All township residents, as well as citizens from neighboring communities, are welcome to attend.
Treasurer Joe Ferrari said officials wish to showcase the new two-level, 14,000-square-foot building so residents can become more aquainted with it.
‘We want to basically show the different departments that everybody is stationed,? he said. ‘We’re gonna try and have staff members available to answer any questions.?
Beginning at 11 a.m., residents will be able to take guided tours through the building given by township officials.
‘It’s sort of a meet and greet for our residents,? Ferarri said.
Light appetizers, cookies and punch will be served. At 1 p.m., the Young Marines will conduct an official flag raising outside of the hall.
The township hall is located at 300 Dunlap Road. For more information call the township at (248) 628-9787.
