Search back on for principal

The hunt for a new principal for Brandon Fletcher Intermediate School is back on after a recently hired candidate for the job decided to quit before he started.
In July, Kurt Sutton a former elementary assistant principal in the Richmond School District was named the new Brandon Fletcher Intermediate School principal at last months school board meeting.
Sutton was hired to replace longtime principal, Donald Patrick who retired in June.
However, last week Sutton, 29, notified the district that for personal reasons he decided to not accept the position at Brandon Fletcher Intermediate.
‘Of course we’re disappointed with Sutton’s decision, however we wish him the best in his new endeavors,? said Tom Miller, Brandon School District Superintendent.
‘For the beginning of the school year Donald Patrick will return as the interim-principal, and a new search will begin immediately.?
