The Orion Area Chamber of Commerce presents their Second Annual Community Business Expo on Feb. 23 at Lake Orion High School.
The expo is 6-9 p.m., and admittance is free.
Everyone in the community is welcome to attend, and meet the chamber, business owners and managers of Orion Township.
There will also be special offers from local businesses, coupons, giveaways and door prizes all night long.
There will be food, and some interesting and fun exhibits to check out.
An expo is an expose or exhibit of items that have some sort of theme, which is exactly what a Community Business Expo is, a showcase of local businesses.
Why should you care to attend?
The chamber offers several reasons:
You may be amazed at the delightful variety of businesses right here in your community.
At the Community Business Expo, you will have the opportunity to find out exactly what a particular business is, or what they do.
You will have the opportunity to speak with many business owners that you may not have the opportunity to speak to during the busy business day.
Many of the businesses exhibiting have created special offers just for those attending the Expo (You may find the special offer you have been looking for).
Throughout the evening there will be door prize drawings for wonderful gifts that have been donated by the local business owners.
If you have never been to a Community Business Expo, you don’t know what you’re missing.
So come on, it’s free, be a little nosey.
And finally, it’s a night out, a chance to get away from the television, and to shake off some of those mid-winter doldrums.
