After a big win last Tuesday that put the Oxford Wildcats into a first-place tie atop the Flint Metro League basketball standings, it was important for the team to not let up.
The Cats continued their tough play, jumping to a 20-4 lead over Holly and in the first quarter and then coasting to a 69-56 victory.
Brad Dugan led the way with 16 points.
Tim Ketelhut had 14 points, including two three-pointers.
Alan Willar tossed in 11 points and Brandon Dugan hit a pair of triples for six points.
The Wildcat’s victory improved the team record to 5-1 in the FML and left them atop the standings in a tie with Brandon.
The Cats were scheduled to play at Fenton on Tuesday and will travel to Lapeer East on Friday for a 7:15 p.m. game.
