An 42-year-old Holly man was struck by a vehicle as he wandered into the roadway at the intersection of Dixie Highway near Big Lake Road at about 8 p.m. on Jan. 17.
The southbound vehicle struck the man head-on on the driver’s side. The motorist was a 19-year-old Davisburg man driving a 1999 GMC Sonoma.
The man received nonthreatening injuries. According to information from witnesses, the pedestrian was possibly intoxicated.
The man was transported to Genesys Hospital for medical treatment.
