Tuesday, November 22 Family trouble on East St. after a boyfriend got into an argument with his girlfriend over his drinking.
A vehicle on Crawford had its windshield shattered by a cinder block.
Reports of a broken water valve at a home on N. Glaspie.
Wednesday, November 23 Reports of a 48-year-old man on E. Burdick attempting suicide by slitting his wrists. Officers forced their way into the home and transported the man to POH. The man was intoxicated at the time and blew a .125.
A man has been harassing his ex-wife on Lincoln since their divorce last year. He has been calling her and driving by her home, even though she has a personal protection order against him.
Thursday, November 24 A 15-year-old boy was allegedly trying to extort over $1,000 from his friends father. After a couple of tries, the father called police to tip them off where the money would be on Thornehill Trail. The teen fled police initially, but was later taken into custody.
Friday, November 25 A 17-year-old male from Crossroads for Youth didn’t return after having Thanksgiving with his mother in Ferndale.
A vehicle on Excelsior Dr. had its windshield and side windows smashed, a stereo system and toolbox stolen.
Reports of teens harassing other teens at the movie theater on Washington.
Saturday, November 26 When a resident on Crestwood Dr. returned home, she noticed her front door open. Her bedroom drawers were rummaged through and her medication was taken.
A 17-year-old male was issued a citation after police found drug paraphernalia in his pocket during a traffic stop.
Two unidentified men got into an argument over sound equipment at a bar on S. Washington. The men took off before anyone noticed the damage to the equipment. A surveillance camera caught the men, who are regular customers.
Sunday, November 27 Reports of a strange man making threatening phone calls to a 15-year-old girl on Cross Circle. The man stated that he’s going to ‘watch her die.?
Monday, November 28 A 37-year-old man from Almont was arrested for felonious assault with a firearm after he kicked in the door of his almost ex-mother-in-law’s home on Oakridge. The man was intoxicated and had a handgun in his hand as he was damaging the door. Officers found him in a neighbors yard and transported him to Oakland County Jail.
Reports of suspicious circumstances after a 23-year-old woman spent the night at her friends house on Eugene. She felt her blanket move and awoke to find her friend’s husband standing near her. She doesn’t believe he touched her and did not want him questioned by police.
