Justin Barger’s wrestling career may be on hold, but later this month, fans will have a chance to see the Ortonville native in action.
Barger said his friend Anthony Nick has arranged for a film lasting 1 to 1-1/2 hours to be shown at the Oxford 7 Cinema around 7-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31.
The film, titled ‘Hardcore Heart,? will feature a composite of Barger’s pro wrestling career. It will be broken down into segments from before and after he was trained.
Barger, 21, is a 2002 graduate of Brandon High School who trained under Andrew D’Arcy of Blue Water Championship Wrestling (BWCW) in Port Huron.
He said he is still interested in pursuing a wrestling career, but right now is concentrating on his studies at the University of Michigan-Flint, where he is majoring in communications and business.
