Orion Senior Center Director Marylou Enneking has resigned.
Enneking has been away from the center on sick leave for about a year. She requested the two-week notice period be waived and her resignation be effective immediately.
Enneking’s resignation was accepted by Orion Township trustees at their Aug. 1 meeting. They also authorized advertising for a new director, a full-time position with benefits, for $40,000 per year.
