On July 13 around 8:30 p.m., a black pickup truck lost control veering off Waldon Road crashing into a residence.
Witnesses stated they saw three Hispanic males exit the vehicle and run south on Snow Apple Drive.
The three suspects were caught by deputies on South Hampton north of Sherringham Road and transported to the Independence Township substation.
One of the men, a passenger in the vehicle said he fell asleep and then the truck was rolling over. He said they fled because they were scared.
The driver of the vehicle was lodged in Oakland County Jail and the two passengers were transported home.
An arrest warrant is being sought against the driver for operating while intoxicated, fleeing the scene of an injury accident, driving while unlicensed and driving an unregistered vehicle on a public road.
As of Monday morning, the arraignment had yet to occur.
