Ortonville– The village council voted unanimously at the July 11 meeting to give clerk/treasurer Mary Clark $3,000 after taxes to compensate her for the expanded workload she took on for two months in the absence of a village manager.
Former village manager Paul Zelenak left May 16 to become the Bloomfield Hills city manager. New village manager Judy D. Andersen starts July 18.
