Elite’s Level 6 gymanstics team in Oxford, which has two Brandon Township team members, is wrapping up a stunning competitive season with three consecutive 1st place finishes.
Their winning streak started at the Minehart Memorial Invitational in Findlay, Ohio on Feb. 12 when the Level 6 team took first place with an overall combined score of 109.750. The team’s success followed them to the Arnold Challenge in Columbus, Ohio on March 6, where they achieved an overall combined score of 111.275 (again a first place finish) and then on to the Level 6 State Qualifier in Shelby Township, Michigan on March 12 where their overall score of 110.075 took top honors.
In addition to the team’s success in their last three meets, the individual gymnasts have brought home 28 gold medals, 14 silver medals and 13 bronze medals for their personal achievements on the vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor and all around performance within their age groups.
They are looking forward to their final meet of the year, the State Championships the weekend of April 30th.
