The Goodrich boys track team routed LakeVille 103-34 in their Genesee Area Conference season opener April 14.
Charlie Richards was the Martians? main man at the meet, winning three events: the 110 hurdles (14.7), the 1600 meter run (5:01.39) and the 300 meter hurdles (40.56).
Goodrich won three field events at the meet, as Mike Hannchman won the shot put with a throw of 43?10?, Jeff Decator won the long jump with a jump of 20?3?, and Andy Klumpp won the high jump with a jump of 5?10?.
Decator also won the 100 meter race with a time of 10.93.
Other Goodrich first-place finishers were Wayne Coulman in the 400 meters (54.54), Ben Richards in the 800 meters (2:08.64), Kirk Elsworth in the 200 meters (23.33), and Jeremy Phan in the 3200 meters (11:13).
