Children’s author Lisa Wheeler, who is from Michigan, visited Pine Tree Elementary School on Feb. 25, as her last stop in the Lake Orion School District after visiting all the elementary schools throughout the week. Wheeler was brought to speak to students in Lake Orion by the elementary schools? media specialists. Wheeler has authored 11 children’s books, mostly about animals and often in rhyme.
