Gary Parker, supervisor at the Learning Options High School in the CERC building, recently issued an interesting challenge to his students.
He told them if they collected 1,500 cans for the Lake Orion Lions Club, he would let them dye his hair the color of their choice.
The students donated 1,700 cans and got their wish, choosing Intense Pink as Parker’s hair color.
Students and staff watched on Dec. 17 as Parker’s hair was dyed during the lunch hour.
