The Blackhawks split a Sept. 13 matchup with Pontiac Notre Dame Prep, with each school winning four matches.
Brandon had more success in doubles competition, with the Blackhawks taking three of four flights. Brandon’s lone singles win came at #4 singles, where Jill Perry defeated Katie Woodstock 6-3, 6-2.
The Blackhawks? Lynsey Crain and Holly Gerber defeated Abby Beauchamp and Megan McFarland at #2 doubles 6-4, 7-5; Susan Gajdos and Laura Kwiatkowski defeated Dana Schoenmaker and Amanda Siuniak at #3 doubles 7-5, 4-6, 6-3; and Lauren Dixon and Annemarie Solley defeated Claire Kubinski and Anita Mallya at #4 doubles 6-1, 6-2.
Brandon returns to action Sept. 20 when they travel to Auburn Hills Avondale for a 4 p.m. match.
