Brandon boys track remains winless in Flint Metro action

It’s been a rough Flint Metro League season for the Brandon boys track team.
In a May 17 league meet at Lapeer East, the Blackhawks dropped both their matchups, falling to Linden 101-36 and Lapeer East 86-51.
With the losses, the Blackhawks remain winless in the league at 0-6. Their overall record is 12-26.
Brandon’s Ben Reed was one of the Blackhawks? few bright spots, winning two events, the 1,600 meters (4:48.28) and the 800 meters (2:08.72). The Blackhawks won two other events in the meet, as Adam Hyde won the 300 hurdles (41.59), and Steven Pierce won the pole vault (12?).
On May 12, the Blackhawks dropped a hard-fought meet against Lapeer West, 77-60.
