The Teen Department for the Brandon Library will be hosting a second Gaming Day on May 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will take place in the Community Room at the library.
The Gaming Day will offer an opportunity for young adults to experience gaming, outside of the video game genre.
There will be representatives of Warmachine, from Privateer Press, which is the hottest miniature game in the United States.
Games Workship will be on to offer gaming demos of their most popular games, such as Warhammer, Warhammer 40K, Lord of the Rings, and others.
‘We had 53 teens and adults come to the last Gaming Day event,? said Ben Peterson, who is a library assistant in charge of organizing the event.
Peterson said the previous event was a huge success.
‘We want to show that there is more to gaming then things you find on the TV screen,? he said.
Along with the miniature games, there will be board gaming, Hero Clix, painting demonstrations, and many give aways at the raffle.
To register for the event call the Library Adult Services Dest at (248) 627-1461 or register on line at: www.brandonlibrary.org.
