Brandon varsity baseball coach Ron Wagner, his staff, and players will hold a baseball camp Saturday, May 22 for boys and girls ages 7-14.
The camp will begin at 8:30 a.m. with sign-in and registration. Drills and instruction will take place from 9 a.m.-noon, at which time there will be a lunch break. The camp resumes at 12:45 p.m. with more drills and instruction, and ends at 3 p.m.
The following topics will be addressed at the camp: hitting and bunting, infield and outfield play, catching and throwing fundamentals, pitching mechanics, and sliding and base running. There will also be a guest speaker at the camp.
Camp participants need to bring a baseball glove and bat, along with gym shoes and sweatpants.
The cost for the camp is $25 beforehand, and $30 at the door, which covers lunch and a camp T-shirt.
