Flowers, letters unwelcome

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of stalking and suspicious circumstances on Regency Drive on April 28.
According to an OCSD report, a 35-year-old woman complained that someone had left a dozen roses and a letter for her at her back door. She also later received a rose and a letter left on her car while it was parked at an arena.
The content of the letters proclaimed love for her, and the woman told the OCSD that she thought they were being sent by the father of a child in her son’s sports league.
The woman supplied the OCSD with the name of a 41-year-old Keego Harbor man. The man admitted to sending the letters, but said he had thought the feeling was mutual. He said he would stop.
