LAKE ORION — The Dragons shutout crosstown rival Clarkston last Thursday in an OAA White battle, 5-0.
The Lake Orion Girls Varsity Soccer team held control of the ball during the majority of the first half.
Dylan Verlinden scored a pair of goals, the first with 23:55 remaining in the first half and the second less than five minutes later.
Junior Lillian Brodoski scored the third goal for the Dragons with less than 18 minutes remaining in the first half.
The Dragons also defeated Berkley last week with a 1-0 win at home on April 15. Senior Sydney Goodman scored the lone goal.
The Dragons opened the week with a 3-1 win over Utica on Monday with two goals from Verlinden and one from senior Evelyn Taylor.
They played Royal Oak on Tuesday.
Lake Orion (7-0-1, 3-0-1 OAA White) hosts Birmingham Groves on Thursday and Birmingham Seaholm on Tuesday, April 29. JV plays at 5:30 p.m., varsity follows.
