It looks like the Oxford-Brandon boys varsity ski team is on a roll after defeating Fenton and Flushing at Mt. Holly last week.
Against Fenton, the boys scored 40 against the Tiger’s 71 in the giant slalom.
Oxford captain Anthony Sottile took fifth place (:49.19) and Alex Piette took sixth place (:49.34).
In slalom, Oxford-Brandon won 17-20.
First place went to Brandon skiier Casey Drayton (1:01.66), fourth to Sottile (1:03.47) and fifth to Piette (1:08.55).
Against Flushing, the boys scored 40-52 in the GS with the same placings as above.
In slalom, the boys unfortunately lost 21-15, but saw great effort by all.
The boys are now 3-0 in combined totals for slalom and GS.
Although the Oxford-Brandon girls varsity ski team lost against Fenton and Flushing in the GS, they experienced their first win of the season against Fenton in the slalom, 16-31.
Caroline Kerbalis took second place and Olivia Tyler took third.
The girls lost to Flushing in the slalom 28-11.
The ski teams will take on Grand Blanc on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at 4:15 p.m.
