The Children’s Park pedestrian bridge may finally be getting repaired.
The Lake Orion Village Council approved a payment for JSSMacomb, LLC., in the amount of $3,875.43 for steel support beams for the pedestrian bridge future replacement project.
The purchase was previously approved by council after the reconfiguration of the Meek’s Park bridge redesign.
The total cost of the project is estimated at $39,748, which will be charged to the Lake Orion Parks and Recreation Department of the general fund and is expected to be funded through general fund reserves.
An installation date for the steel beams was not available during the council meeting on Monday. — M.K.
