NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Charter Township of Orion Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the lower level of the Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360, on the following matter:
AB-2017-29, Shauna Weaver, 402 W. Greenshield Rd. Sidwell #09-23-301-001
The petitioner is requesting three variances from Zoning Ordinance No. 78, Article XXVII:
1. Section 27.02, A, 8, Over 2.5 acres, Maximum Floor Area of Detached Accessory Buildings, requesting: a 3,004 sq. ft. variance above the allowed 1,400 sq. ft. maximum, to build a 672 sq. ft. detached accessory building in addition to the existing 3,732 sq. ft. detached buildings, for a total detached accessory building square footage of 4,404.
2. Section 27.02, A, 8, Over 2.5 acres, Total Maximum Floor Area of All Accessory Buildings, requesting: a 3033 sq. ft. variance above the allowed 1,900 sq. ft. maximum, to build a 672 sq. ft. detached accessory building in addition to the existing 529 sq. ft. attached garage and the existing 3,732 sq. ft. of detached buildings for a total accessory building square footage of 4,933 sq. ft.
3. Section 27.02, A, 5 requesting: a 2 ft. variance over the height of the principle building height of 12.5 ft. to construct an accessory structure that is 14.5 ft. high.

A complete copy of the proposed ZBA application is on file in the Planning & Zoning Department and may be examined during normal business hours, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, until the date of the public hearing.
