Orion Township is accepting applications to fill the position on the board of trustees vacated by former Trustee Ron Sliwinski, who resigned May 8.
Applications are available in the clerk’s office at Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Rd., or online under the Notices – Committee Vacancies link.
The township board will review applications and appoint someone to fill the open seat until the term expires on Nov. 20, 2020.
Supervisor Chris Barnett said two residents have already submitted applications, and the deadline to turn in an application is May 25. – J.N.
