It is great to see that Orion Township has the funds to update or add a fire station in Lake Orion.

Maybe the township has the funds to put a fire station on Central Drive. Or, hire about 1,500 firefighters to form a bucket line to put out the next fire on Central.

If you look at your fire hydrant by your home and it has a Black Cap it will supply water — Maybe!

If you have a black cap the firedepartment is calling other towns in the area for help to contain the fire.

THAT IS RIGHT “CONTAIN THE FIRE.”

Your home will burn to the ground.

When will this issue be handled?

The township claims it is the village’s problem; the village says the township needs to work it out.
