It’s been a cold, long winter and the Waldon Middle School students were ready for some relief…some Cabin Fever Relief!
The Waldon PTO decided to sponsor an activities night at the school. The event consisted of a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, a euchre tournament, the movie ‘The Sandlot? on the school’s big screen, video games and open gym time.
Members of the National Honor Society sold concessions. The profits are going to the Lymphoma Society in honor of eighth grade science teacher, Jon Gray, who was stricken with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in December and the school’s counselor Barb Hoffman, who is in remission from lymphoma.
The NJHS also sold button pins with a picture of Gray, with all proceeds going to the Lymphoma Society.
