Painting the lines

This year’s stripping the pavement project in the Village of Lake Orion will be more extensive than in the past.
The work includes 65 crossings, three school crossings, 21 stop bars, 11 ‘STOP? markings, seven streets with double yellow center lines, six streets with parking spaces marked and two parking lots with parking spaces and handicapped spaces marked.
Hart Paving Striping was the low bidder ($5,500) for the work. Monies in the village’s Major Street Fund will cover this cost.
