The Sashabaw Optimist Club at Sashabaw Middle School installed club officers and members at an induction ceremony, Oct. 21.

The student community group organized pop can drives and candy bar sales last year to raise money for SCAMP. They plan a variety of services and donations to benefit kids.
The 52-member club welcomes new members throughout the year.
